It's never really felt like a job. From my first day, right up to my last day, it's been a wonderful ride.
Certainly, loving one's job is a blessing. As the sadness of all those around me..losing their jobs.. permeates my soul.. I feel pain and it becomes difficult to feel the blessing, I've never really felt like I was working. The best part has been working with a great bunch of people whose faces and pleasant company I will certainly miss the most.
As I am reminded by my boyfriend, as one door closes another door opens.... I shall look for that door and gladly enjoy the experience of finding it. Some days are better than others, it's true. But in every moment there is peace and joy.. open your heart, your eyes, your ears, your mind.. and find it... Some days are better than others and this is a good thing.

Turn Worry to Wonder
On a day like today it would be easy to surrender and allow defeat to settle in. On a day like today most cry and blame someone else or the economy. I choose to explore this new path with wonder.
Today I joined the ever growing ranks of the those who have seen their jobs go overseas. I was not alone today, as my entire site was kindly told that the economic conditions could no longer support American wages and all activity is being transferred to China.
As unbelievable as this may sound, Thank you!
The hardest part about becoming an engineer was seeing myself as one. Once I dreamed up that reality, it came to me. I say thank you, because I am filled with wonder and open to the possibilities that lay ahead. You and I can be anything we dream possible.. and I wish it for you. It is never to late to dream up a new reality. I already have my plan B in place.... If all else fails I will live in a box on tropical island and live my days out as a beggar in paradise.. not to bad.
I may not know who I am going to be this time around, but I do know for certain that once I see it in my mind, I will be doing it in my life..
Peace, love and happiness to you.
